How it works
Confirm owners, directors and proposed activity.
Map notarisation, apostille and translation needs.
Coordinate the agreed registration route.
Activate recurring support in Poland.
Commercial relationship · 2025 data
Numbers show the scale of the relationship. Execution still depends on documents, communication and how decisions move in both markets.
Polish exports were EUR 1.366bn and imports from India EUR 4.315bn.
Official Polish diplomatic data cites investors including TCS, Infosys, Uflex, HCL, Wipro and Glenmark.
The relationship was upgraded during Prime Minister Modi's 2024 visit to Poland.
Business culture in practice
These are useful tendencies for preparing meetings and processes, not rules about individuals or companies.
Indian businesses often value relationship continuity and visible senior involvement. Polish teams also respect authority, but expect authority to match formal corporate representation.
Polite or exploratory language can be read too literally across cultures. Record what is agreed, what remains conditional and who owns each next step.
Indian promoter, family and group-company structures may be commercially obvious at home but still require a precise UBO chain, authority evidence and source-of-funds narrative in Poland.
English is effective for the commercial process; filings, tax records and many formal instruments still require Polish or certified translations.
Before you start
Obtain current corporate registry evidence and apostille where required.
Explain multi-layer and family ownership before bank onboarding.
Align Indian outward-remittance steps with the Polish capital and payment sequence.
Separate immigration planning from the right to own or direct the company.
Each ownership structure and regulated activity can change the route. Final requirements, timing and external costs are confirmed after the initial review.
